Great-sounding pair of circa-1975 ADS L-500 acoustic suspension speakers in excellent condition. Early ADS had a well-deserved reputation for a clean airy sound. In the mid 70s ADS in Massachusetts, which sprung from German electronics manufacturer Braun, had quite a line of excellent speakers from the same time period that produced the original Quad ESLs, the IMF (Irving Fried) studios, BBC LS3-5A, KEF, and Spendor. The ADS products performed very well in comparison to speakers from Advent, EPI, Genesis, Infinity, and JBL.
The beautiful cabinets are very heavy and finished in real walnut veneer with black grills.
Condition: Fully tested. In excellent condition and sounding great.
