I am selling my 2003 Pontiac Grand AM. The model is SE1 with the following options: 4 cylinder, it does have a sun roof (fully functioning and perfect), 155, 565 km, power locks and windows, 16 in aluminum wheels, 8 speakers factory sound system (CD player).
The good: Car is in excellent mechanical condition, passed e-test last November and should pass safety. Car drives very smoothly at 120 km/hour and will do at least 170 km/hours with minimal shaking (recommend you do that on a track), Shocks and struts at the front are two months old.
The bad: gas gauge does not work (i fill gas based on kilometers as it would cost a fortune to fix as the gauge because you need to remove the gas tank). Its a 2003 so the car does have some rust on the car as well as the undercarriage. The frame and the inside of the car is in great condition. Brakes very well as it was changed less than a year ago. Brakes are very good with the exception that it does make a soft grunting noise towards the end. My mechanic suspect that it could be the caliper (left front) seizing, however, I don't smell anything burning from the brakes.
Front tires are brand new and the rear tires are 3 year old with less than 20k on them. Tires are actually worth more than the damn car.
Front tires: 225/50/R16 Cooper CS5 ultra touring, set of two and brand new.
Rear tires: 225/50/R16 Cooper Zeon RS3-R set of two with 20k on them.
I am asking $700 (FIRM) AS IS for the car WITHOUT winter tires or I AM WILLING TO SELL THE CAR FOR PARTS. Also have winter tires with rims for the car (please see my other ad, if it is still available). Please text, call, or email with questions. Car is not available until September 17, 2017 as I need the car until then.
Reason for selling: my sister is giving me her car so it makes no sense to have two vehicles in the drive way.
