I want to get this out there, I am not looking for some in and out boring job. I am looking for something rewarding and interesting, something I can see myself doing for a long time. Instead of doing the usual send out resume's to tons of places looking for someplace worthwhile, which usually nets me a job somewhere, I figured I would see if anyone out there has/knows of someplace that meets my criteria.
I'm looking for ideally a trade, but I am open to whatever you may have to offer, I'm extremely technical in nature and I love working with my hands. I am a definately a problem solver. I've been a shop assistant for a automotive mechanic, apprentice machinist, bike mechanic and as a side hobby/job I fix consumer electronics. If it has to do with fixing/fabrication I probably have a little knowledge on it already. I am also extremely proficient with computers both in use and repair. I have had a few computer related jobs as well. I'm not against getting a job I have already done as long
as it meet my criteria. I also have a car and a valid, clean G2. Clean criminal record too.
I don't want to work shiftwork, has the possibility of shiftwork, or at any time could mean I am working shiftwork.
I don't mind working early/late, but as you can tell I don't want to work shiftwork. I need 40 hours a week to survive unless you want to pay me $25 dollars or more an hour, I don't mind working overtime at all, I don't mind working the occasional weekend. No shift work.
I like challenging work, and enjoy using my brain. I don't want to be some nameless faceless robot for x company stuck in a thoughtless mindless job.
I'm looking for around 14 dollars an hour to start.
