Antique Flow Blue Platter. "Conway" pattern by the New Wharf Pottery Company (England), 1890 - 1894. This small platter is marked with the number 13 and the company hallmark on the back, the form of the hallmark that was used between 1890 and 1894. An example of the hallmark can be seen on page 30 (Plate 98) of The Collector's Encyclopedia of Flow Blue China by Mary Frank Gaston.
The platter measures 10¾ inches (27.5 cm) by 7¾ inches (20 cm) and the top of the sloped rim stands 1 inch (2.5 cm) above the table.
The piece is in good used condition, with no chips, cracks or crazing.
