Description: Bacon & Day (B&D) Style 'A' Super Tenor banjo, serial #: 13628, from 1925.
"Curly maple neck, three ply center veneers, pearl inlaid fingerboard, peg head and back of peg head.
Curly maple rim, with patent auxiliary tone chamber and amplifier back, half round spun metal bottom edge, notched top hoop, 28 brackets, Grover patent keys, patent pressure tail piece, selected Rogers head, Bacon Webfoot ebony top bridge.
Special own make strings, dark antique finished wood parts, French polished. All metal parts nickel plated."

Condition: This instrument is in 'very good' all-original condition with some usual age wear. The resonator plate is missing the removal buttons and the tailpiece is missing the cover. The skin is original and all of the inlay and veneers are intact.
The original case is included but is in poor condition.
