WORKS AND SOUNDS LIKE NEW
Clean in and out, dust-free, smoke-free
Basic maintenance service all done, colder joints re-flowed with fresh solder, all controls/connectors/switches deoxidized and lubed.
This Denon's amp employs sliding bias design, similar to that of Pioneer, Sony, JVC and Technics of the 80's/90's (New Class A, Super-A, Non-Switching) but with more sophisticated circuitry.
No adjustments ever needed, bias voltages and DC offset are controlled by the circuit.
The sound is impressively musical and clear for a budget receiver. The build quality is premium all-Japanese parts, Elna, Alps, Bando, Sanken, etc.
This Denon model is almost identical to DRA-335R, but is slightly heavier/has better build.
