NEAR MINT, WORKS AND SOUNDS LIKE NEW
NOT SURROUND MODEL, BUILT WITH MUSIC IN MIND
SLIM, UNUSUALLY HEAVY, VERY NICE SOUND
I would call this receiver "musical".
Clean in and out, dust-free, smoke-free
All controls and connectors were deoxidized and lubed and are noise-free.
The circuit is self-biasing, no need for adjustments, ever.

This Onkyo has beautiful crisp and clean sweet sound that would cost much more if it was one of the best known brands
(Sony, Denon, Marantz). As a matter of fact, Onkyo used same circuit layout and most of the same parts as Harman/Kardon receivers of the same era.
