If you're a techy, maybe you know what's wrong and can fix it, or can just use it as a 2GB flash card (about 1.75 x 1 3/8 x 5/8 in.).
The unit charges thru a regular-to-mini connectorized USB cable (not included), that also allows up/download to/from a computer. There are about 80 music files on it now that a computer can play.
When turned on the red light comes on solid, like it should, but that only lasts for a bit, then it flashes rapidly, and won't play.
If you quickly push the play button right after the unit comes on, you hear about 1 sec. of music before it stops and the red light flashes rapidly again. (It has a 1/8 in. dia. jack for stereo head phones or speakers - not included).
Reset doesn't help. There's a small reset hole at the upper rear under the clip; with a bent paper clip you push in the right spot till you hear a click. That puts the red light out, and should reboot the unit. But, when turned on it behaves as above and still won't play.
With a 1 sheet user guide, that's also online at http://www.southerntelecom.com/polariodsupport/downloads/PMP80-2.pdf (can email it if interested)
