Thai food is internationally famous. Whether chilli-hot or comparatively bland, harmony is the guiding principle behind each dish. Thai cuisine is essentially a marriage of centuries-old Eastern and Western influences harmoniously combined into something uniquely Thai.
A hands-on Thai cooking class will be offered at the Ottawa Chinese Cooking Studio (OCCS) on Saturday, January 21st. It will start at 6:20 pm, the cost is $79 (plus HST) per person. This is also a Dinner consisting of the dishes made in class and complimentary items as listed below:
(1) Red curry beef
(2) Pad Thai (traditional fried rice noodles with shrimp and fried tofu)
(3) Thai chicken cashew
(4) Tom yum gai (hot and sour chicken soup with coconut
(5) Thai fish cake
(6) Spicy Dipping sauce
Plus complimentary rice, chili sauce, fortune cookies and tea
