Vintage Brass Fireplace Starter Cape Cod Codder Wood Fire Kerosene Lighter Pot.
The pot is in used condition and could use a good polishing, please refer to the pictures for a better look on its condition.
The function of this pot was kerosene would be kept in the pot with the stone soaking and then the stone would be used to start the fire.
It appears it was nicely crafted from a brass bombshell casing; it has a copper handle. It is very heavy and measures 13 inches high. Comes with Galleon wand and soap stone.
