Vintage Jay Flex sterling necklace and earrings. This lovely set consists of pink-hued, prong-set rhinestones and mother of pearl accents set in sterling silver. It dates from the 1940's. There are no missing stones and the stones still sparkle. The screw-on earrings are also in excellent condition. The Jay Flex Jewelry Company operated in Montreal, Canada, from the early 1930's to the mid-1960's. They were renowned for their quality designs and workmanship and competed with Sherman. This set would be suitable for wear at a wedding, prom, or other gala event. The necklace is 14½ inches long and the central square is 1 inch deep. The earrings measure ¾ inch square.
