8/10, WORK AND SOUND LIKE NEW
Magnificent sounding, some of the most impressive classic speakers.
These stylish Gothic towers have a huge WOW factor, seeing them in person is a special experience.
They produce a huge wall of deep rich high-resolution lifelike sound, comparable in quality to new speakers selling for $4000-$12000 (yes, new 15 inches Tannoy sell for that much).
All controls deoxidized, are noise-free, new everlasting premium U*S*A-made butyl rubber surrounds installed, with new dust caps and alignment properly done.

I like these Marantz much more than $250 Energy 22 Reference selling for $2500 (far bigger soundstage, more beautiful sound), more than Klipsch Heresy (far deeper, not harsh), and more than JBL L100 (no slow woolly bass, no excessive coloration).
They are comparable to Tannoy Berkeley in their natural rendition of the source; The sound is sweet, smooth and natural! THAT kind of best classic Marantz sound, almost like Model 2385 or 2325.
These speakers are the old school quality, built to last many many decades, will never need ferrofluid injections every 10 years to keep them running like Energy 22 do or new foams.
I've been collecting vintage stereos for a long time, so trades for old Marantz, JBL Professional, Sansui, Kenwood amp, receiver, speakers in any condition will be considered.
