Trattoria Caffe Italia is an Italian casual fine-dining restaurant and wine bar with a seating capacity of up to 100 guests in the dining room, with 2 private rooms seating an additional 120 guests. Our menu boasts homemade pasta, steak, lamb, veal, and fish dishes. We also serve homemade soups, salads, pizzas, and a variety of appetizers. We are looking for a prep cook with previous kitchen experience preferably in Italian cuisine. Duties include salads, prep work, pizzas, and garnishes. Candidate must have worked in a kitchen before. Opportunity for promotion. Must be available evenings and weekends. Must have knowledge of plating and portions. Must be able to maintain clean work space. Candidate must be a team player with good communication skills. Must be able to work well under busy conditions. Hours vary depending on restaurant traffic, but typically run 5 shifts a week for lunch and dinner service. The restaurant is open from 11am-9pm on weekdays and until 10pm on Friday/Saturday.
