Classics Illustrated is a comic book series featuring adaptations of literary classics such as: Robinson Crusoe, Hamlet, War of the Worlds, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, etc. The series actually began publication in 1941 and finished its first run in 1971, producing 169 issues. I have 20 titles in this listing. Classics Illustrated Junior is a comic book series of 77 fairy and folk tale, myth and legend comic book adaptations that was a spin-off of the above flagship comic book line, Classics Illustrated. I only have 4 of these titles. I am not a comic book collector, so I have no idea how grading is applied to comics. In my opinion, all the comics I have in this listing are in very good condition considering how old they are. I collected them and kept them in a binder, in plastic sleeves with a backer-board (see picture), purely as a nostalgia "thing". I am downsizing so they are part of my cleanup.
