$300 · Antique Dresser with Mirror
(note: the mirror was not reattached to the dresser after moving. Brackets are shown in a photo.)
I don't know when this dresser was constructed. It has no markings, only hand written numbers. But based on what I could find when I did a search, it looks like somewhere in the 1800s. Check out the photo with the drawer's dovetail joints. I don't know what kind of wood either. What I do know is that it belonged to my grandmother and was passed on to my mother in the late 1970s, and then to me.
This is a beautifully constructed piece of furniture that's sturdy, has deep drawers that do not stick, and it's in good condition. The top would need to be refinished, or you can cover it. Some water damage at the back. Photos available upon request.
The brackets are what holds the mirror which is backed by wood, i.e. heavy and protected.
The dresser is 42 inches long, 20.5 inches deep, & 36.5 inches tall (without the mirror)
The mirror is 34 inches tall.
The inside of the 2 small drawers are 15 inches (front to back), 17 inches (wide), 3 ¼ deep
The inside of the 2 large drawers are 3 feet wide & 7 ¼ deep
