Hello, I am a gardener in my spare time and I have past experience working as a gardener along the Rideau Canal in Ottawa (from Dow's Lake to Downtown). I worked on prepping beds for the Tulip Festival as well as the bedding annuals that were planted later. Other than those major tasks, the job was mostly focused on maintenance, edging, mulching, pruning, and so on. I am offering the following services: Yard Clean Up Raking Pruning Mulching Edging Weeding Planting Transplanting Bed Preparation & Building Planters and Baskets Watering Soil Amendments Fertilizing Lawn Overseeding Garden Centre Visits (independent errands or to tag along & help) In order to keep my workload manageable and to maintain a quality service, I do not offer any lawn care / maintenance (with the exception of light overseeding), use of any harsh chemicals or pesticides, pest control, lifting over 50lbs, major brush or tree removal (i.e. anything that involves a chainsaw), or anything that requires the use of heavy equipment / machinery. I charge an hourly rate of $25 an hour with a 2-hour minimum. I am open to one-time service or ongoing help.
