It is embossed with the maker "BROOKINGS MFG CO DAYTON, OHIO - PAT APPL'D FOR" and "TWO QUARTS LIQUID". The lever that opens the valve inside is still in working condition. As you can see from the pictures, this is a beautiful rustic peace that is in very good shape with only a slight dent on the bottom.
