Full-time Auto Mechanic

We are an established and reputable automotive repair company seeking a Senior Automotive Technician to join the team. We have been providing high-quality automotive repair services to clients in the Ottawa area for over 20 years. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles. You will work closely with other members of the team to ensure that all repairs are completed efficiently and effectively, and to ensure that clients receive the highest level of service. Responsibilities: • Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles, including both domestic and foreign models • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety • Communicate with clients to explain repairs and maintenance needs, and provide accurate estimates of costs and timelines • Train and mentor junior technicians to improve their skills and knowledge • Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques • Maintain a clean and organized work environment Requirements: • Minimum 5 years of experience as an automotive technician • Must provide your own tools • Strong diagnostic skills and experience with a variety of repair tools and equipment • Master Technician certification is preferred • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex repair issues to clients in simple terms • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality What you will get in return: A competitive compensation packages and benefits, including medical and dental insurance, paid time off, and RRSP contribution.
